- ➤ The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce announced a new referral program in partnership with Fiserv – Clover and local consultant Dana McKean to offer members exclusive pricing, special promotions and one-on-one local support. - ➤ Priceville Police launched Monday’s Most Wanted on July 28 to clear active warrants—and posted the first notice on August 4. The department seeks 31-year-old Phillip Dale Acton, wanted for probation violations and missing court, and he was seen on Union Hill Road in Somerville. News 19

- ➤ AAA reported that as of July 28, Decatur's gas averaged $2.72 for regular, $3.16 for mid-grade and $3.53 for premium—below national averages of $3.15, $3.62 and $3.98—showing similar trends across North Alabama. Rocket City Now

- ➤ Decatur-Morgan Hospital is offering free swim lessons for Morgan County children through Drake’s Fund—created in honor of 3-year-old Drake Wyatt who drowned on November 27, 2009—to teach essential water safety skills.
