- ➤ The Decatur City Council doubled funding for the Modaus Road Southwest sports complex on Monday morning after a major cost underestimate, giving the project extra support to cover rising expenses. Decatur Daily
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Morgan County Health Department released health inspection scores for local food and lodging places inspected Dec. 8-13. Scores ranged from 87 to 100 — with Mi Michoacanita Ice Cream & Snack earning a perfect score — and several establishments addressed critical issues by cleaning, retraining, or replacing items. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Kintavious Dozier powered Alabama A&M to a 68-60 win over North Alabama Monday night at the AAMU Event Center with 17 second-half points that ended a three-game losing streak. The Bulldogs will play Ole Miss tomorrow at Cadence Bank Arena (streamed on the SEC Network). WAAY-TV
