  • Several North Alabama grocery stores will operate on Thanksgiving Day with limited hours. Some will open as early as 6:30 a.m. and close by mid-afternoon — shoppers should check with each store for current times.  WAAY-TV

  • Hartselle Utilities warned business owners in Hartselle that scammers called and urged them to pay by dialing 888-462-4884 under threat of immediate service disconnection—Hartselle Utilities said it always sends a late notice first and never disconnects right away.  News 19
