ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The Morgan County EMA cleared the scene at Bunge food processing company in Decatur on Thursday morning after fire crews responded to a HAZMAT chemical spill — no shelter in place or evacuations were needed — and they continue to monitor cleanup efforts. WAAY-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Alabama Department of Human Resources announced that full SNAP benefits for November will be released immediately after processing files sent to the EBT vendor so recipients receive funds on their cards today. Governor Kay Ivey praised the federal reopening and noted that those with later issuance dates will receive benefits on schedule. News 19
