- ➤ Community Action Partnership of North Alabama broke ground on a 1,200-square-foot training center designed as a model home for free workshops that will start in February — offering classes on basic repairs and home maintenance — to help families save on costly repairs and achieve stable housing. - ➤ The Chamber’s Commodores met at Decatur Fire & Rescue Station 5 on October 17—Interim Fire Chief Nathan Springer explained daily operations and community service during the tour.
