EDUCATION NEWS

  • Alabama public schools had 729,242 students in 2024-25 and now face the largest drop in 40 years as nearly 5,000 students have left — with 3,000 using CHOOSE Act funds and 2,100 missing from last year. School leaders are urging parents to re-enroll the missing students — a step to help them catch up.  Rocket City Now
