- ➤ Decatur Police reported that an Athens man, Tavoras Antwan Coffman, 40, was killed in a two-vehicle wreck just before 6:30 a.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Beltline Road SW — Carridale Street SW, with a passenger and the other driver taken to Huntsville Hospital. WAAY-TV

- ➤ Priceville Police Department named a 37-year-old man (Andy Andrew Moran) as Monday’s Most Wanted on Sept. 1 for a probation violation of shoplifting after he failed to meet court orders from April 8; he was last seen on Powell Rd in Falkville. News 19
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Morgan County Sheriff Ron Puckett announced plans to refurbish 26 showers and add 21 cameras to both the interior and exterior of Morgan County Jail—upgrades that will be implemented in the near future. Decatur Daily
