- ➤ Decatur Police Department said a fatal crash occurred Saturday morning at the intersection of Beltline Rd. SW and Carridale St. SW — 40-year-old Tavoras Antwan Coffman was pronounced dead on scene while two others were injured, with one airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. News 19

- ➤ After a month-long investigation, Priceville Police arrested Decatur woman Dayna Ferrell King — accused of theft for making about $10,000 in unauthorized company credit card charges following a July 30 report — and she is held at Morgan County Jail on a $10,000 bond, authorities said. News 19
- ➤ A Decatur woman was charged with felony theft—Priceville Police said she used her employer's credit card for about $10,000 in unauthorized charges. Decatur Daily
