  • A wanted Huntsville man, 22-year-old Bryan Crisanto Hernandez, led Priceville and Decatur officers on a two-county chase Thursday night that ended when his vehicle crashed at the intersection of Plummer Road — Jordan Lane with no injuries reported, a firearm recovered, and charges including felony attempting to elude law enforcement pending.  WAAY-TV

  • AAA reported that on August 29 regular gas was priced at $2.80 in Huntsville, $2.76 in Decatur, and $2.82 in Florence-Muscle Shoals while the national average for regular fuel was $3.20 (AAA also advised drivers to slow down and avoid harsh acceleration to save fuel).  Rocket City Now

  • Taylor Fresh Foods has recalled its Honey Balsamic Salad Kits sold in 25 states because Latitude 36 Foods sent the wrong packets that may include undeclared sesame and soy allergens — the kits with code dates beginning TFRS and Best If Used By dates through Sept. 4 should be discarded and returned for a refund, with no illnesses reported so far.  News 19
