- ➤ On July 30, Point Mallard Water Park closed the Platforms and Pro Bowl Slide because of staffing shortages and offered half-price admission all day. The park said it planned to reopen some attractions later as staff returned to work. Rocket City Now
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Priceville police stopped a car Tuesday at 1 p.m. on I-65 near Mile Marker 334 and arrested two Winston County men when a K-9 unit found fentanyl, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle—one already on bond from June and the other with an outstanding Decatur animal cruelty warrant—and they were booked into Morgan County Jail with bonds set at $41,000.
