- ➤ Three people were injured after a crash along Yarborough Road at Wilbanks Lane in Harvest on Wednesday night — a 19-year-old male and a 4-year-old child are in critical condition while a woman in her 40s was taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment —. News 19

- ➤ Decatur Police urged residents to lock car doors and secure valuables as a recent uptick in car break-ins—including theft of over a dozen firearms from unlocked vehicles at night—has prompted increased patrols and calls for reporting suspicious activity. News 19
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ ALDOT said drivers faced lane closures on the Tennessee River Bridges last night from 6 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday and will face single-lane closures on the northbound bridge first then the southbound bridge from 6 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday as part of a $23.7 million rehabilitation project expected to finish this fall—drivers are advised to use alternate routes like Somerville Road or Central Parkway to ease delays.
