ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Agencies responded to a multi-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on U.S. 231 near AL-36 on Friday at 7:49 a.m. — there were no reported injuries as troopers investigate the incident.  News 19

CRIME NEWS

  • At Limestone Correctional Facility on Friday, police stopped a red SUV during a checkpoint—officers found 195 grams of meth, 160 grams of marijuana and 190 grams of altered paper, and arrested Monica Bishop, a YesCare health care worker now banned from ADOC property.  WAAY-TV
