- ➤ Robert Blake Sumerel, 34, a Falkville man, was arrested for drug trafficking during a traffic stop in Priceville on Wednesday at 5:37 p.m. when officers found a fentanyl and methamphetamine mixture in his vehicle—his bond is now held as a result of previous offenses. WAAY-TV
- ➤ A Morgan County jury convicted Decatur chiropractor Brian Mann of attempted murder by poisoning his wife with lead — he will be sentenced on August 27 after charges stemming from investigations that began in 2022. Rocket City Now
