  • A Morgan County jury found Brian Mann guilty of attempted murder of his wife — Hannah Mann — on Thursday morning.  Decatur Daily
  • Robert Blake Sumerel, 34, a Falkville man, was arrested for drug trafficking during a traffic stop in Priceville on Wednesday at 5:37 p.m. when officers found a fentanyl and methamphetamine mixture in his vehicle—his bond is now held as a result of previous offenses.  WAAY-TV
  • A Morgan County jury convicted Decatur chiropractor Brian Mann of attempted murder by poisoning his wife with lead — he will be sentenced on August 27 after charges stemming from investigations that began in 2022.  Rocket City Now
  • A Decatur jury continues deliberations in the trial of Brian Mann, a local chiropractor accused of trying to poison his wife by making her unknowingly swallow lead—if she died, life insurance policies would have paid him over a million dollars.  News 19
  • A Trinity man, 30-year-old Cody Wayne Terry, was convicted Wednesday of rape and sodomy after DNA evidence linked him to an April 2021 case where Decatur officers responded — he faces sentencing on August 26 with a potential life sentence due to a prior felony.  WAAY-TV
