A study from Feeding America shows more people in North Alabama do not have enough food, with 187,180 people, including 44,860 children, affected in the Food Bank of North Alabama area.
CEO Shirley Schofield said rising need + federal cuts have made it harder for the food bank to serve the community and urged locals to support food programs.

Three sites got perfect scores—critical issues at other sites were addressed.
