The Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic will return to Point Mallard Park on May 23-24 with balloon races, live music, tractor and auto shows plus a fireworks display to cap the weekend.

Students and staff at Owens Cross Roads Elementary wore purple Monday, May 18th to honor McKinley Davis (a victim of last week’s train crash in Gurley) in a heartfelt tribute that united the school community.
