Good morning, Decatur.

The Decatur Youth Symphony (after more than 20 years without its own building) will use state funding to begin searching for a permanent space that meets its growing needs in the community.

Rock the Block, a free musical festival organized by area high school students, returns Friday, May 15 outside the Alabama Center for the Arts in downtown Decatur.

The event offers locals a chance to enjoy live music and community spirit.
