- ➤ The Priceville Police Department said Highway 67 was closed on Wednesday after a two-vehicle wreck—by 10:21 a.m. the lanes were reopened and drivers were told to avoid the area near Horse Center Road. News 19

- ➤ John Daniel Scott Jr. was laid to rest on April 30 (after a violent arrest when he refused hospital help during a mental health crisis) and his family now seeks justice (asking for prayers) as the Madison County Sheriff's Office investigates his death. News 19
- ➤ Priceville police arrested 50-year-old Christopher Alan Jackson from Sylacauga on Tuesday evening after a traffic stop on I-65 near mile marker 334 turned into a drug investigation that found a methamphetamine/fentanyl mixture, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a loaded firearm—Morgan County Circuit Judge set his bond at $70,000. - ➤ Priceville police arrested 26-year-old Leneil Reshawn Brown—a Birmingham man—after a Tuesday night traffic stop on Interstate 65 near mile marker 333 when he discarded items from his vehicle; a subsequent search found psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia which led to multiple charges and a bond set at $50,000. - ➤ On April 30, Decatur Police, Morgan County Rescue Squad & Decatur Fire and Rescue responded to a witness report that someone jumped off the Hudson Memorial Bridge northbound around 8:30 p.m. News 19

- ➤ Decatur Utilities contracted Vortex Services to rehab the sanitary sewer at the intersection of Brookline Ave. SW and McNair St. SW today, closing Brookline Ave. SW from Jarvis St. SW to McNair St. SW between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.—utility workers will be on-site at 8 a.m. to set up traffic control devices, so drivers should slow down and use caution.
