CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Decatur Police say John Daniel Scott Jr. died after he resisted arrest on April 15 for an outstanding Morgan County Failure to Appear warrant and was hit multiple times and tased—now the Madison County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation with extra help from state and federal agencies if needed. - ➤ Decatur Police arrested a man on Wednesday after witnesses said he attacked and attempted to rob someone at Chevron Food Mart on 14th Street SW—he is now held at Morgan County Jail without bond and faces charges for third-degree robbery, third-degree escape and resisting arrest. News 19
