- ➤ Vintage market will be held at Point Mallard from Mar. 27 to Mar. 29, giving collectors and shoppers a chance to find retro treasures at this local event. Decatur Daily
- ➤ Decatur and Calhoun Community College plan a sports complex near 10th Avenue Northeast that would move baseball and softball programs to a new venue for student athletes. The City Council will consider a resolution on Monday to let Mayor Kent Lawrence negotiate an agreement to advance the project. Rocket City Now
- ➤ Rodney Jones of Tent City Servers will serve meals at 8:30 a.m. today at 200 Derrick St. NW in Huntsville — his group now operates weekly to help unhoused, disabled and low-income people across the region. WAAY-TV

- ➤ Diesel prices surged over 20 cents from last week — reaching nearly $5 per gallon statewide — which means trucking companies are feeling the pinch as costs push margins tighter and slow freight activity. 256 Trucking's Jim Wall said companies now face tough choices about passing costs onto customers.
