  • The Jewels program is moving prom closets to high schools in Hartselle so students can choose their prom dresses in a familiar setting—this change will roll out soon to make the experience more accessible.  Decatur Daily

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Officials warn the public to stay away from Wilson Lock because high water on the Tennessee River makes the area dangerous. Crews are moving equipment out of the lock chamber as water nears the top of the temporary barrier and repairs are set to finish by mid-June.  Rocket City Now
