  • UAH beat Nova Southeastern 73-70 to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history. A wind advisory remains until 7 a.m. today — a freeze warning is in effect from 8 p.m. tonight until 9 a.m. Tuesday across parts of north central, northeast and northwest Alabama.  WAAY-TV
  • Alabama advances to the NCAA Tournament as a four-seed and will face 13th-seeded Hofstra on March 20 in Tampa Bay. The Crimson Tide secure their sixth straight appearance while Auburn misses the bracket for the first time since 2021.  WAAY-TV
