  • A Morgan County judge said that the immunity hearing and trial for former Decatur police officer Mac Bailey Marquette, charged with killing Steve Perkins, will proceed as scheduled despite his lawyer's request for a delay pending an appeals court ruling on Judge Elliott’s alleged improper conversations—official details on the appeals decision are still pending.  WAAY-TV
